How to Make a One-Time Gift

A charitable gift of cash can be made to the St. Francis de Sales Association or to our Mission Auxiliary by sending a check to:

All monies donated to the Mission Auxiliary are under the direct supervision of the Salesian Missionaries of Mary Immaculate and support their missionary work and the formation of new Sisters.

Bequests

For The St. Francis de Sales Association

In your will, you may make a personal bequest to the St. Francis de Sales Association to assist in all its ongoing ministries and in the formation of new associates. The St. Francis de Sales Association is a non-profit tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)3 of the IRS code and under the group ruling granted to the US Conference of Catholic Bishops, EIN # 47-0880130. The mailing address is St. Francis de Sales Association, Attn. National Treasurer, 101 W. Argonne Drive, #124, St Louis, MO 63122. The association is listed in the Official Catholic Directory. (P.J. For the Mission Auxiliary of the St. Francis de Sales Association

In your will, you may make a personal bequest to the Mission Auxiliary of the St. Francis de Sales Association. The Mission Auxiliary is a non-profit federally tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)3 and is defined by the IRS as an approved foreign mission society, EIN # 36-6134287. The mailing address is Mission Auxiliary of the SFdS Association, Post Office Box 195, Winnetka, IL 60093. All monies donated to the Mission Auxiliary are under the direct supervision of the Salesian Missionaries of Mary Immaculate and support their missionary work and the formation of new Sisters.

Note: The Salesian Missionaries of Mary Immaculate (SMMI) is an international religious order headquartered in Rome. Checks should NOT be made out to the SMMI. The few Salesian Missionaries of Mary Immaculate who reside in the U.S. do not handle money except for local purposes, and they do not seek general donations. The Mission Auxiliary exists solely to accept donations and transfer them to the Sisters’ bank in Rome under the supervision of the treasurer of the order.

Other Gifts

You can also help our association for years to come using one of the following strategies:

  • Donate to the St. Francis de Sales Association or the Mission Auxiliary of the St. Francis de Sales Association a specific amount or a percentage of your assets including stocks, bonds, CDs, real estate, vehicles, art, jewelry or other property.
  • Name the St. Francis de Sales Association or the Mission Auxiliary as the beneficiary of an existing life insurance policy or purchase a new policy and name the charity as the beneficiary.
  • Name the St. Francis de Sales Association or the Mission Auxiliary as the beneficiary of your IRA or pension plan.
  • Honor associates with memorial gifts. Any family member or friend may donate in honor of a Salesian associate.
