All regional and group directresses and treasurers are servant leaders in the St. Francis de Sales Association. Our worldwide organization is divided into territories (often by language), regions (by country) and groups (local).
- Regional Directress: A regional directress, with the help of a team and her region’s group directresses, animates our members in our mission of personal sanctification and the apostolate. She is responsible for admission to formation and consecration in the association. The U.S. regional directresses collaborate as members of the U.S. national council.
- Regional Treasurer: A regional treasurer manages the funds for the region.
- Group Directress: A group directresses administers and animates her group with help of a team and in consultation with her regional directress.
- Group Treasurer: A group treasurer manages the funds for her group. Some group treasurers serve more than one group.

The St. Francis de Sales Association in the United States is divided into five regions:
- Central Region (formerly Eastern Region I, formerly Midwest)
- Northeast & Puerto Rico (formerly Eastern Region II)
- Mississippi Valley Region (formerly Eastern Region III), established in 1954
- Mid-Atlantic and England
- West Region, established in 1979
