On October 24, 2024, Pope Francis released an encyclical letter called “Dilexit Nos (He Loved Us): On the Human and Divine Love of the Heart of Jesus Christ.” Beginning in section 114, he discusses St. Francis de Sales’ important contributions to the devotion to the heart of Jesus.
Fr. Wilson Abraham MSFS (He is the Novice Master at Varanasi and the Associate Director of De Sales and Mermier Resource and Animation Centre, Hyderabad) gave a talk entitled “New Encyclical Dilexit Nos and St. Francis de Sales on the Spirituality of the Heart.”
